M&S appoints Frasers Group CCO to new online director role

M&S has appointed David Clark as its new director of online, omnichannel and partnerships.

Clark has been working for the last four years at Frasers Group, most recently as chief customer officer.

His career has also included working with Selfridges as digital general manager as well as senior roles at ASOS and Zalando.

M&S is currently working through a transformation of its clothing, home and beauty department under the leadership of managing director John Lyttle.

This has included the appointment of Jag Weatherley as transformation director and Jon Rolls as commercial and operations director. Last year, M&S also hired David James as supply chain and logistics director.

Lyttle said: “We have brilliant people working across our fashion, home and beauty team and I am pleased that we have bolstered the team further with a number of new appointments.

“Jon, Jag, David and David bring deep experience and the right mix of skills to complement the existing talented team.

“Having the right team in place underpins our strategy as we reshape for future growth – as a team, we have a lot to do and together we are excited about the opportunities ahead.”
