Mint Velvet opens 12th standalone store

High street fashion retailer Mint Velvet has opened its 12th standalone store as it pursues its store expansion programme across the UK.

The opening of the 520 sq ft store in Reigate in Surrey forms part of the retailer’s plans to increase the number of standalone stores to 30. This will include the opening of up to 10 new stores in the next 12 to 18 months.

Mint Velvet also operates concessions in 80 department stores including branches of John Lewis, Fenwick and House of Fraser.

Stuart Grant, commercial director at Mint Velvet, said: “Within our current roll-out programme we are continuing to identify prime pitch retail opportunities in affluent market towns throughout the UK which will create a close fit with our existing boutiques.”
