Jollyes opens 125th store as expansion continues

Jollyes Pets has officially opened its 125th store at The Valley in Evesham as it continues its UK expansion.

The opening was attended by Mayor Councillor Bill Kimberley and Mayoress Cllr Mrs Celia Kimberley of Evesham, alongside Jollyes supply chain director David Stokes and chief financial officer Gary Temple. Members of the Jollyes leadership and store team were also present, as was cockapoo Jax, the first dog through the doors.

Jollyes Pets area manager Jonty Cornes said: “We’re delighted to finally open the doors and welcome customers on the red carpet to the new store here in Evesham.

“It was great to see so many dogs come and see their new pet store, including our first VIP paws through the door – Jax.”

Over the past three years, Jollyes has almost doubled the number of stores across the UK. In April, the retailer released a list of more than 160 towns and cities across Britain where it hopes to open new shops over the next five years, should the right sites become available.

The retailer’s next store openings will be Great Yarmouth (21 August), Seaham (11 September), Sheffield (25 September) and Mansfield (6 October).
