H&T introduces new Christmas benefits for store employees
H&T Pawnbrokers has introduced some special Christmas benefits for store employees in this pandemic year.
The company said its chief executive John Nichols and operations director Mark Harrold have personally video called all 253 stores and support centres to thank staff, delivered festive cards, gift and lunch vouchers to recognise great service, and given all store staff three days off over Christmas. In addition, all employees have been awarded a ‘thank you’ payment in their December salary.
Harrold said: “These are exceptionally difficult times for everyone, and we want to recognise the outstanding contribution that all of our colleagues make day-in, day-out. For us, looking after our colleagues isn’t anything new. We have always done it. We are extremely proud of our teams and their commitment to each other and our customers.”
