Mikkelsen has been working with Flying Tiger for the last seven years, most recently as chief executive for international. Prior to that, he worked for around 13 years with footwear brand Ecco where he held various positions before becoming market director in 2014.

John Dueholm, chairman of Zebra A/S, said: “I’m very pleased to announce Jens Aarup Mikkelsen as our new CEO.

“Jens has successfully developed and strengthened the international operations and played a central role in both shaping and executing the strategy.

“In particular, since 2021 he has led the franchise expansion outside Europe, which represents a key growth engine for the company going forward.”

Mikkelsen added: “It is with a strong sense of responsibility and great motivation that I step into the role of CEO for Flying Tiger Copenhagen at a pivotal point in the company’s journey.

“Our direction remains clear, and our priorities are unchanged: we will continue to focus on disciplined execution, strengthening our international footprint and delivering long-term value, while staying true to the creativity and energy that define Flying Tiger Copenhagen.”
