Debenhams to open new store in Leamington Spa

Debenhams is to open a new 40,000 sq ft department store in Leamington Spa.

The store will replace the former Focus unit at the 135,000 sq ft Leamington Shopping Park which is owned by Gibraltar Limited Partnership.

Other retailers at the shopping park include New Look, Outfit, Next, Boots, Clarks and Mamas & Papas, which recently opened a 4,000 sq ft store.

Refurbishment work has begun on site with the new store scheduled to open in November. 

Robert Hadfield, head of property for Debenhams, said: “We were really impressed by the quality of the retailers and environment at Leamington Shopping Park.  We are delighted to be opening the store before Christmas and it follows our strategy of securing the right store in the right market.”
