Comet honoured in Employer of the Year Awards

Comet has won a Highly Commended recognition at the Working Families Employer of the Year Awards 2003.
The UK electricals retailer was one of seven finalists in the running for the Family Friendly Award, and the only commercial retailer to be shortlisted at the event.
Comet was given special recognition for its commitment to its employees through broad flexible working policies for working parents plus generous maternity, paternity and adoption packages.
Veronica McCarthy, Comet social responsibility manager said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be the only retail commercial sector organisation to receive recognition at the Awards.
“At Comet, flexible working policies are a critical component of our business ethos.”
