Bira introducess Neartoo online marketplace

Retail association Bira has launched an online marketplace called Neartoo as it looks to offer independent retailers a new and cost-effective way to sell online.

The UK-wide collaborative platform is open to all types of independent retailers and will operate  with a significantly lower sales commission than its competitors.

Bira chief executive Andrew Goodacre said: “This new online trading platform will allow indie retailers to sell online, arrange click and collect and really engage with local customers – and all at a lower cost than any other similar marketplace by charging only 7% commission.”
