Arket opens first stores in Italy and Spain
Design and lifestyle brand Arket has opened its first physical stores in Italy and Spain in the cities of Milan and Barcelona.
The flagship store in Milan is situated in the Medelan Building on Piazza Cordusio, which until now has served as the headquarters of Credito Italiano bank.
Subscribe to TRBSpanning 1,000 square metres across the ground and second floors, the space stocks the brand’s full assortment of ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men, as well as childrenswear, body care and homeware items.
Pernilla Wohlfahrt, managing director of Arket, said: “We are beyond excited to finally have opened our very first Arket location in Italy with this beautiful flagship store in the centre of Milan. We look forward to meeting our design-savvy local customers in person and inviting them to explore our vision of a more beautiful everyday life.”
Meanwhile, the Spanish store in Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona has total area of 650 square metres, and also features a pop-up bookshop from the Barcelona-based publishing house Apartamento, which offers a range of literature on food, art, and everyday aesthetics.
Arket is part of the H&M Group where brands also include H&M, H&M Home, COS, & Other Stories, and Weekday.
