Alchemy in talks with Baugur

Alchemy Partners is believed to be the front runner in the race to buy Baugur.

The Times reports this morning that industry sources said this morning that Mr Moulton has had direct talks with the management of Mosaic and department store chain House of Fraser. Mr Moulton is believed to have close connections with the chief executive of Mosaic who does not want his empire to fall into the hands of Sir Philip Green.
