Waitrose grows range of kefir products

After introducing kefir drinks on its shelves last year, Waitrose has launched a new range of Kefir-Quark pots to keep up with customer demand for kefir.

Available in two flavours – Original and Cranberry & Chai – the pots offer a combination of kefir and quark.

The new range will be stocked in Waitrose’s chilled yogurt aisle and is aimed at customers seeking an easy breakfast or snack.

Melissa Spiro, yogurt buyer at Waitrose, said: “The increasing number of health-conscious consumers and growing popularity of kefir and quark means we’ve been able to introduce new and exciting products onto our shelves.”

The Bio-tiful Kefir-Quark Original pots are priced £1.69 while the Cranberry & Chai flavour pots cost £1.99.
