Aldi to create 500 apprentice roles this year
Aldi is opening applications for 500 apprenticeship roles in its stores and warehouses across the UK.
Apprentices will work towards industry-recognised qualifications. Store apprentices will start on £12.02 per hour, rising to £13.35 per hour, while those working within the M25 will begin on £13.22 per hour. Meanwhile, apprentices in warehouse roles can earn up to £12.63 per hour.
Subscribe to TRBLisa Murphy, training and development director at Aldi UK, said: “We’ve built a strong track record of helping people launch their careers through our apprenticeship programme, and we’re excited to welcome the next cohort to Team Aldi.
“This is a genuine opportunity to learn on the job, build valuable skills and earn market-leading pay – all while working for one of the UK’s biggest grocery retailers.
“We want to hear from people of all backgrounds, so, if you’re interested, we’d really encourage you to apply, whatever your experience.”
Earlier this month. Aldi announced that it would be increasing rates of pay for store staff from 1 March as part of a £36 million investment in pay and benafits.
