Weekday expands into central Europe

Weekday, the H&M owned fashion retailer, is to open its first store in central Europe at Elektrownia Powiśle in Warsaw.

Spanning 450 square metres, the new shop will sell the brand’s range of clothing and accessories, as well items from external brands such as Fila, Champion, Birkenstock and Vans.

Founded in 2002, Weekday currently ships to 19 online markets. When Poland is included, it now has stores in 11 countries across Europe.

Dariusz Domański, associate partner and development and leasing director at White Star Real Estate, said: “Weekday offer will perfectly compliment the tenant mix of Elektrownia. Clothes and accessories that can be found in the store will attract attention of customers, who until now, were able to do purchases only in Weekday online store.”
