Skims hires Natalie Buchberger as director of franchise, EMEA

Kim Kardashian’s Skims has hired Natalie Buchberger as director of franchise, EMEA.

Buchberger has been working within the Tapestry Group for the last eight years, first at Coach, where she rose through the ranks to the position of head of sales, continental Europe and emerging markets. She then worked within the wider group where she became head of sales for Coach and Kate Spade EMEAI.

In a post on LinkedIn announcing her appointment, Buchberger said: “After eight incredible years at Tapestry, it’s time to close a very special chapter and start an exciting new one. I’m thrilled to join Skims as director of franchise, leading our franchise business across international markets.

“A big thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey at Tapestry. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and everything that comes with it.”

Last month, Skims announced that it had made two C-suite appointments with the promotion of Kim Schraub to chief brand officer and the hiring of Erin Magee as chief design officer.

It has recently confirmed that it will be opening its second standalone store in the UK at Westfield London early next year.
