Richard Bradbury to rejoin as River Island CEO

Fashion retailer River Island has announced that Richard Bradbury will rejoin the business as executive chair with full responsibilities for leadership of the business.
Bradbury stepped down from River Island in 2010, and was replaced by Ben Lewis, the nephew of the founder of the company Bernard Lewis. After nine years, Lewis stepped aside but remained on the board as non-executive director.
Lewis was replaced by Will Kernan, who joined the business as CEO in 2019.
Kernan’s last day as CEO will be 31 December, and he will remain with the business until the end of April to oversee several projects.
