R.M. Williams to open first store in Scotland
Australian bootmaker R.M. Williams is to open its first store in Scotland in Edinburgh next month.
Due to launch on 22 January, the shop will be situated within a former ESPC building on George Street in the heart of the city centre.
In addition to carrying the brand’s full footwear, apparel and accessories range, the store will offer services such as expert boot fitting, and ongoing repair and restoration, as well as complimentary boot polishing and embossing or debossing to personalise purchases.
Karl Wederell, general manager of R.M. Williams UK & Europe, said: “Customers from Scotland, and Edinburgh in particular, have supported R.M.Williams for many years, so strategically, it feels right to be opening our first Scottish store in the heart of the city on George Street.
