Myprotein activewear launches on Next’s Sports Club platform

THG’s Myprotein has partnered with Next to bring its activewear range to Sports Club by Next, expanding its retail footprint beyond its recent Footasylum tie-up.

The sports nutrition brand’s initial drop on the online platform comprises around 30 products spanning training and athleisure styles for men and women, including hoodies, T-shirts, shorts, leggings, sports bras, tops and jackets.

A further selection from Sculpt, Myprotein’s women’s performance activewear range, will follow in September.

Other brands offered on Sports Club include Adidas, New Balance, On, Castore, Sweaty Betty and The North Face, alongside Next’s own-brand products.

Neil Mistry, chief executive of THG Nutrition, said: “Launching Myprotein Activewear on Next is another important step in the brand’s evolution.

“Next gives us access to a broad and highly relevant customer base, and placement alongside some of the world’s leading sportswear brands reflects the strength Myprotein Activewear has built in this market.

“This launch also shows the progress we’re making on a scalable B2B model, alongside our direct-to-consumer operations. Activewear is a strategic priority for us, and we see real scope to keep expanding through high-quality retail partnerships like this one.”

In April, Myprotein announced that its activewear range is now available on the high street through an agreement with Footasylum, with the range stocked in stores at Manchester Arndale, Cardiff, White Rose Leeds, Meadowhall, Oxford Street, Metrocentre and Silverburn.
