M&S holds price of school uniform items for fifth consecutive year
Marks & Spencer is holding the price of its school uniform products for the fifth year in a row.
The news follows the retailer reducing its prices by up to 20% on over 100 products from its ‘everyday essentials’ kidswear range at the start of this year.
M&S’s school uniform is designed to be durable and pass the ’hand-me-down’ quality test to ensure it can be “given another life” once it is outgrown. The range incorporates intelligent innovative design features such as growth proof hems and adjustable waistbands.
Alexandra Dimitriu, kidswear director at M&S, said: “As the UK market leaders during the Back-to-School season, we’re maintaining the magic of M&S.
“Trusted value and hand-me-down quality sit at the heart of what we offer in kidswear, which is why we have held our prices for the fifth year in a row.
“It’s not just about school uniform this summer either, we’ve also reduced prices by up to 20% on selected kids daywear, so whether it’s after school playtime or weekend activities, we’re ensuring families have everything they need this season.”
