Monsoon boosts childrenswear offering with dedicated boutique store

Monsoon is to open its first childrenswear boutique next month.

Due to launch on 1 March, the Monsoon Children concept store will be situated in the Westfield, Stratford City shopping centre in the heart of its childrenswear section on the ground floor.

The shop will offer the retailer’s complete children’s range including partywear, outerwear and casual items. It will also stock jewellery, shoes and accessories, as well as key key pieces from its newly launched premium ‘Land of Wonder’ party collection.

The news follows the recent launches of new Monsoons stores in Bath, Edinburgh and Cambridge. The retailer said it has “many more” openings planned for this year in key locations across the UK and Ireland.

Sara Maton, head of buying at Monsoon Children, said: “We are so excited to meet our customers in a new, bold and design-led environment. It’s a thrilling milestone for Monsoon Children to be opening a new concept store in Westfield, Stratford City.”

Nick Stowe, Monsoon chief executive, added: “Monsoon Children has been thriving both in terms of its own evolution but also in terms of customer demand. The launch of its inaugural dedicated boutique is the natural next step in its progression, and I am really excited to see it continue to expand from here.”
