Kate Spade appoints chief marketing officer

Kate Spade New York has appointed Jenny Campbell as its new chief marketing officer.

She has succeeded Mary Renner Beech who worked with the business for six years until 2019.

Campbell previously  held the same role at the Tinder dating app and prior to that was managing director of 72 and Sunny LA. She has also previously held a range of brand, digital and marketing roles at Nike.

In her new position, Campbell will have responsibility for teams working in marketing, brand creative and PR. She will report directly to Kate Spade chief executive Liz Fraser.

Campbell said in a statement: “Kate Spade New York is a brand that is synonomous with joy, and one that I have long admired for its spirited and welcoming approach to style, celebration of confident women and ability to creatively innovate season after season. This has been a pivotal year for the brand, from consumer communication to launching product, to social innovation and we are invigorated by the opportunity presented right now in our industry to take a fresh look at the way we at Kate Spade create, market and sustain momentum.”
