Karen Millen makes high street comeback after seven year absence

Karen Millen is returning to the high street after a seven year absence, with a rollout of concessions throughout the UK.

The Debenhams-owned fashion brand has announced that the spaces will be housed in stores run by The Foschini Group (TFG), home to the Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles fashion brands.

The first concession will launch at Fosse Park in Leicester on 14 August, followed by two further openings on 17 August in Aberdeen Union Square and Liverpool One, with more to follow.

Each concession will offer a collection of Karen Millen’s occasion wear and bestselling pieces in sizes 6 to 18, including its Forever Collection.

Dan Finley, chief executive of Debenhams Group, said: Karen Millen is a brand with real heritage, recognition and a loyal customer base, so bringing it back to the high street is a significant moment.

“Our customers want great fashion, but they also want to experience brands in different ways, and physical retail gives us another opportunity to do that.

“Working with TFG allows us to bring the Karen Millen signature craftsmanship and occasionwear to a new generation of customers, while building on the strength of a brand that has been part of British fashion for more than four decades.”
