Hush partners with Women for Women International for International Women’s Day

Hush is marking this year’s International Women’s Day by teaming up with Women for Women International, a charity that helps women who have survived war to rebuild their lives through training and leadership roles in their communities.

Since it was established in 1993, Women for Women International has grown from one woman to over half a million women in more than 14 conflict-affected countries.

To support the charity’s mission, the fashion brand will donate £10 from each ‘Women Unite, Unite Women’ t-shirt sold between 28 February and 12 March to Women for Women International.

Preeya Varsani, head of corporate partnerships at Women for Women International – UK, said: “This International Women’s Day and all year round, we are grateful to partners like hush for helping women affected by conflict to rebuild their lives, support their families and strengthen their communities. By donating £10 from every ‘Women unite, unite women’ t-shirt sold, hush is helping to provide the skills, tools and knowledge that will lead to a brighter future for women survivors of war.”

The t-shirt will be available to buy from 28 February on Hush’s website.

Hush chief executive Sarah Miles said: “As a female-founded brand, whose customers and employees are largely women, celebrating and supporting women has always been and remains central to hush’s purpose. The work that Women for Women International do helping women rebuild their lives through access to education and community is crucial, and we are delighted to be able to support their much-needed programmes this year for International Women’s Day.”
