Founded by Maria Chenoweth and Wayne Hemingway in 2023, Charity Super.Mkt’s sales have now reached £5.6 million, with funds going to partner charities such as Shelter, Cancer Research UK, Age UK and TRAID.

Situated opposite Aldi and Soho Coffee, the warehouse will be a hub for shoppers to drop off good quality fashion items that they no longer wear. It will also be open to the public through a series of events including a warehouse sale on 11 April and an upcycling workshop on 7 May.

The new space is expected to play a key role in processing items and distributing them to stores across the UK, including Glasgow, Brighton, Sheffield and Spitalfields.

Hemingway said: “It is through the generosity of landlords like Landsec and O2 Centre that Charity Super.Mkt continues to be able to take temporary unused spaces and turn that into total positivity, joy, environmental and social value.”

Ant Foran, centre director at O2 Centre, said: “Demand for pre-loved fashion continues to grow year on year, and Charity Super.Mkt has already proven itself as an exciting and successful concept across the UK.

“Its ethos strongly aligns with our commitment to becoming a more sustainable retail destination, so we’re thrilled to welcome the team to the O2 Centre.”
