The Lakeside shop will offer the brand’s signature mix of elevated essentials and active lifestyle pieces which are inspired by the energy and style of New York and Los Angeles,

Romina Kolodziejska, vice president, global real estate and store development at Garage said: “Since launching our first UK location to a strong reception, we are focused on further establishing Garage in key retail destinations as we continue to grow our footprint across the market.

“Opening our first store in Essex marks an exciting milestone in this journey, strengthening our presence in one of the country’s most dynamic and accessible regions. Lakeside benefits from a broad and well-established catchment, where the Garage experience is set to resonate strongly.”

The news follows recent signings of Pureseoul, Space NK, and Oliver Bonas at Lakeside, which collectively account for nearly 10,000 square feet of space at the destination.  Lakeside is owned and operated by SGS UK Retail.

Robert Jewell, managing director of asset management at Pradera, said: “Garage’s signing reflects both the strength of the scheme and quality of the brands represented.

“Its arrival will further broaden the retail mix, adding another globally recognised name to an already compelling line-up, while enhancing the depth and diversity that continues to distinguish Lakeside from competing destinations.”
