Beaverbrooks Group strengthens leadership with three director appointments

Beaverbrooks Group has strengthened its leadership structure with three senior director appointments.

The owner of jewellery and watch retailer Beaverbrooks and luxury watch and fine jewellery retailer Loupe has promoted Ben Reilly to operations director, following 21 years with the group, where his most recent role was head of property and store design.

In addition, Jo Wilkinson has become digital and brand experience director, after more than 15 years’ experience in leading omnichannel and digital development with the business.

Meanwhile, Nick Bucknell, who has spent 22 years with Beaverbrooks Group, has become watch buying and Loupe operations director, taking responsibility for watch buying across the group alongside his existing Loupe and Rolex responsibilities.

Beaverbrooks said the changes strengthen its leadership while recognising the experience and contribution of long-standing members of the team. This includes Adelle Thompson, who joined Beaverbrooks in 1978 and remains the company’s director of jewellery buying and merchandising.

The owners of Beaverbrooks, the Adlestone family, remain represented by the third generation, with Mark Adlestone continuing in the role of chairman and director.

In a further change, Simon Smith’s role will evolve from retail director to retail, people and culture director, as the group continues its increased focus on people, culture and retail development.

The changes also mark the beginning of the retirement of Roger Fairhurst, who will step down as brand director at the end of September after more than 35 years with the group, and will leave the business in the spring of 2027.

Anna Blackburn, managing director at Beaverbrooks, said: “We are delighted to welcome Ben, Jo and Nick to the director team. All three have built long and successful careers with The Beaverbrooks Group and bring significant expertise across our business.

“This is an exciting time for the Group and the right moment to strengthen our leadership team as we continue to deliver our strategic vision and work towards our core purpose of enriching lives.

“We are also incredibly grateful to Roger for more than 35 years of commitment to the business and everything he has contributed throughout his career.”
