JD Sports appoints chairs of nominations and remuneration committees

JD Sports has appointed Andrew Higginson as chair of its nominations committee and Suzi Williams as chair of its remuneration committee.

The sportswear retailer has also announced the creation of a new disclosure committee.

In a statement, the company said its current committee composition now includes an audit committee chaired by Helen Ashton, a nominations committee chaired by Higginson and a remuneration committee chaired by Williams.

Meanwhile the new disclosure committee will be chaired by Ashton and its members will include Neil Greenhalgh and Nim Cassidy.

JD Sports has also announced that it will release its interim results for the 26-week period to 30 July 2022 on 22 September.
