American Golf launches new campaign as UK golf interest surges
American Golf has launched a new brand campaign as it looks to benefit from a surge in interest in golf across the UK.
After analysing data from Glimpse, the UK’s largest golf retailer found that online searches for “golf beginner courses” have surged by 551% over the past year, while searches for “beginner golf” have risen by 36% in the past month. It has also reported growing interest among women, with sales of women’s golf apparel and footwear increasing by 39% in its stores.
Subscribe to TRBThe ‘We’re Obsessed Too’ campaign runs from April to August and features a series of events aimed at helping golfers of all levels improve, find inspiration and enjoy the game.
Events taking place nationwide include beginner and high-handicap group coaching sessions with buying advice, women-focused events offering custom fittings, product testing and appearances from female golf influencers, and hands-on technology experiences showcasing the latest innovations in golf.

With interest surging following the Masters, it’s clear that golfers – especially beginners – are actively looking for support, guidance, and a place to build confidence.”
