New technology slashes network costs and promotes smarter ways of working

Some of the world’s most trusted tech leaders – Silver Peak (HP), Check Point and SDWAN Solutions – have combined their considerable knowledge and global reach to create breakthrough technology specifically designed to help High Street retail, hospitality and services weather the current storm, crisis and futureproof and vastly reduce network costs by as much as 65%.

SDWAN 1-2-3 SECURE could save your business hundreds of thousands, or millions of pounds for larger chains, while keeping your stores connected to the Internet, cloud applications and payment gateways with very little IT intervention, and comes with built-in next generation firewall and full management. The launch of this tech-collaboration has been brought forward by months to launch now, when it is most needed.

SDWAN1-2-3 SECURE is also ahead of the curve on consumer demand with its ability to help deliver the technology-rich retail and dining experiences today’s consumers demand, it enables businesses to adapt to an increasingly cashless society and process the 88 million (and growing) contactless cards which currently make 1/3 of all transactions cashless. It provides the essential always-on network that runs tills, offices, apps and communications and can be installed as a brand new solution or as an overlay to your existing solution, starting with a few sites and expanding and replacing old technologies as, and when, you like – a clever, cost-effective single solution, in a single box, and all fully managed for you.

SDWAN 1-2-3 SECURE includes everything a store or branch needs to stay safely connected to payment gateways, the internet, HQ or any other location and is created to support office-based or remote working equally. SD-WAN software installed on a small hardware device, dual internet access connections, full management and 24 x 7 support access, all included from just under £149 per site, per month including an onsite next generation firewall installed on the same device, or for under £100 SDWAN 1-2-3 comes without the firewall.

Anthony Senter, CEO of SDWAN Solutions, the UK’s most experienced SD-WAN solution provider, and one of only 12 SD-WAN subject matter experts globally explains more about SDWAN 1-2-3: “It was always our aim to deliver a cost effective and technically advanced network solution to the retail hospitality sectors, so when the UK went into lockdown we worked round the clock to push forward the development of SDWAN 1-2-3 to help High Streets revive, and we are the first company in the world to do this at an unprecedented price point.”

“We have options available to suit the smallest of stores, as well as larger stores and chains, data centres, warehouses, in fact any part of your business with connectivity needs from 20mbps right up to 10Gbps. SDWAN 1-2-3 keeps your store connected – just because a shop or fast food outlet is small, shouldn’t mean that they cannot have the same technology and benefits that stores with much larger budgets have. SDWAN 1 provides 20mbps of bandwidth which is more than enough to keep 8 ePOS devices online, for connection to DC’s and warehouses, general internet use, connectivity for several security cameras, HR systems and even Voice over IP. Plus, your IT team has complete visibility to every store and even to every application running at each store, and can roll out changes to every store from a central location. SDWAN 1-2-3 is flexible to move should a store relocate and new stores can be up and running in a few hours not months.”

SDWAN Solutions global partner network includes some giants of technology

Toby Sturridge, CTO (and the UK’s only other SD-WAN subject matter expert) of SDWAN Solutions says, “We were delighted to lead on this breakthrough innovation, but we couldn’t have done it without our online security partner Check Point. We partner with some of the biggest tech names on the planet and have always taken a collaborative approach to all our (six) world-first innovations. Through having the combined brilliance of our and their R&D labs and insights into our combined customer bases – many of whom are in the retail and hospitality space – we were able to create something that will bring huge value to High Street businesses at a price of that cannot be beaten anywhere on the planet right now.” Toby further adds. “We can offer SDWAN 1-2-3 throughout the UK and across all 27 countries in the EU, via our Belgium-registered sister company SDWAN Solutions SRL, and we can further customise solutions using our vast array of technology partners – we have a tailored solution for every need and every size and type of business from shops to takeaways, supermarkets to small chains.” It can only mean good news for a currently beleaguered High Street when potentially millions of pounds can be saved and used for recovery strategies, keeping stores open and people in employment.
