COVID RESPONSE: Cybertill now selling Countertop Shields in fight against COVID

Cloud-based retail software company Cybertill is selling a retail solution for reducing the spread of germs for retailers of all sizes.

In the current climate there are small measures that can be taken to ensure the safety and protection of both customers and retail staff. The Cybertill Countertop Shields are ideal for all retail settings and are built to help reduce the spread of contagious, airborne germs commonly spread by coughing or sneezing.

The shields will allow for retailers to create a protective shield in any place of commerce that requires direct interaction between employees and customers in close proximity such as POS checkouts. The countertop shields are weighted so they can sit independently on top of any counter without the help of an engineer.

Cybertill CEO Ian Tomlinson (pictured) says this of the new product line “When the lockdown hit, the majority of our customers, large and small, had to shut up shop. Now we’re doing everything that we can to help retailers open back up as quickly and safely as possible, so that they can continue to do what they, and we, love most, retailing.”
