Box Technologies launches Toshiba WILLPOS B10 POS terminal

Box Technologies has announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Toshiba TEC. Under the agreement, Box Technologies will manage deployment of the Toshiba WILLPOS B10 Point-of Sale (POS) terminal in the UK, in addition to the exclusive service and repair of the product.

Ideal for most retail environments the WILLPOS B10 has an ultra-small footprint designed to be set either in horizontal or vertical position. The WILLPOS B10 is also a perfect match for hospitality outlets.

The WILLPOS B10 is packed with a complete set of retail-hardened features that make it easy to use, powerful, compatible andsecure. Designed for maximum return on the shop floor, the WILLPOS B10 is pre-configured to operate in harsh retail environments andprovides LAN connectivity to both legacy infrastructure andthe newestPOS peripherals. The WILLPOS B10 offers an attractive dual-screen option as well as multiple powered interfaces whilstdelivering low power consumption.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculations estimate that only 20 percent of the lifecycle cost is spent on hardware andsoftware – the remaining expenditures allocated to usage, maintenance and admin costs.Smartretailers today look atPOS productsthat are able to lower the TCO during the entire product lifecycle – hereby ensuring the bestpossible return on investment.POS systems designed by ToshibaTEC require very littlemaintenance and are built for long-haul 24/7 operations.
