Joanna Sykes to leave Aquascutum
8 June, 2012 | by Retail Bulletin
Joanna Sykes, the design director of Aquascutum, is to leave the company at the end of the month.
Her departure comes as a new team takes control at the iconic British fashion label after it was saved from collapse last month by Hong Kong-based YGM Trading which purchased the business for £15 million.
Aquascutum’s new chief executive officer Tim Dally told WWD: “It is very early days for us as a new management team, but we will shortly announce structural changes that will focus the business and ensure the longevity of this incredible British heritage brand.”
A successor for Sykes, who joined Aquascutum in May 2010, has not yet been announced.
