Hotter Shoes targets 19 new stores for 2012

Footwear retailer Hotter Comfort Concept Shoes is continuing to expand across the UK with plans to open six new stores before the end of the year.

The retailer, which has launched 13 new stores so far this year, will open stores in Shrewsbury and Inverness in October taking the total number of stores to 40. It also plans to open a further four stores by the end of the year as it targets 19 new store openings for 2012. Expansion will continue into 2013 with 15 new store locations already identified.

John Nicholas, retail director, said: “It looks like 2013 will be another busy year for our retail team as we’ve already identified a further 15 locations for stores.

“Each store offers a personalised fitting service to ensure customers find their perfect fit every time. We even create a comfortable and relaxed environment for our customers to shop, with comfy seating and a ‘home-like’ feel.”

Hotter Comfort Concept Shoes is the biggest shoemaker in the UK and has produced 1.5 million pairs of shoes from its Lancashire factory this year.

The company has expanded rapidly over recent years selling shoes from its stores, online and from its call centre.
