UK Flooring Direct appoints HR director
UK Flooring Direct has promoted Faye Summers to the position of HR director.
Her appointment forms part of the company’s plans to grow and develop its own talent.
Subscribe to TRBPreviously holding the role of head of HR and people development, Summers has worked with the business since 2018 and has played integral part in the implementation of its growth strategy. In her new role, she will to continue to develop the culture at UK Flooring Direct with a particular focus on personal development and wellbeing for staff.
Summers said: “I am delighted to move into the role as HR director. This is a fast-paced business and we’ve achieved a great deal in the past few years, especially when you consider we were faced with the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Moving into this new role will really help me build on the success we’ve achieved of making UK Flooring Direct a great place to work and a key contributor to the local community.”
She previously worked as head of HR and people development at Uniting Ambition and prior to that as senior HR officer at Phones 4U.
