ScS chief financial officer to step down

ScS has announced that its chief financial officer, Chris Muir, has notified its board that he will be stepping down.

The upholstered furniture retailer said a process to identify his successor will begin immediately.

Muir has a 12 month notice period and will remain with the business while a replacement is appointed and to facilitate a smooth handover.

Prior to joining ScS in 2016, he was group finance director at Northgate.

In addition to selling fabric and leather sofas and chairs, ScS offers a range of flooring spanning carpets, laminate and vinyl.
