MKM launches first mobile app for trade customers and DIYers
MKM has launched its first mobile app to give trade customers and DIYers a new way to browse products, manage accounts and place orders.
Built entirely in-house, the app allows users to browse local branch stock, check branch specific pricing, build baskets and pay invoices. It is open to all customers, including account holders and guest users, and features biometric login via Face ID or fingerprint.
Subscribe to TRBVoice search speeds up product lookups, while dedicated sections for deals, clearance and timber tally allow customers to find offers and select exact timber cut lengths.
Andy Pickup, digital director at MKM Building Supplies, said: “We wanted to create something that genuinely helps our customers day-to-day.
“Our branches do a brilliant job supporting customers face-to-face, and this gives people another way to get things sorted quickly when they need to.
“It means whether someone is sat in the van and needs to quickly order a few bits, or they are planning the week ahead on a Sunday night and lining up deliveries for the next jobs, they can do it there and then without having to wait.”
The launch is part of MKM’s wider digital growth plan and comes alongside continued expansion, with eight new branches opened to date in 2026.
