Boxpark appoints chief operations officer
The Boxpark retail, casual dining and leisure concept has appointed David Gough as its chief operations officer.
Gough was previously operations director at Fuller’s Stable Bar & Restaurants group and prior to that worked with Exipro, Glendola Leisure and Pizza Express. Earlier in his career, he also worked with Whitbread.
Subscribe to TRBIn his new role, he will be responsible for all site operations and will report directly to Boxpark chief executive Roger Wade. This will involve leading and executing the company’s strategy, overseeing all commercial aspects of the business, enhancing the customer experience, and focusing on training and employee development.
In a statement, Boxpark said he will help take the business to the next level due to his wide ranging experience across HR, marketing, finance and technology..
Wade said: “We are delighted to appoint David to the role of COO – he has a fantastic wealth of experience and skills in not only driving business growth, but in achieving efficiency across all aspects of an organisation. As we focus on our growth strategy, David will be instrumental in ensuring everything is in place and that we are meeting our commercial objectives.”
