The Inkey List appoints new chief executive

UK skincare brand The Inkey List has appointed Stephanie Davis Michelman as its new chief executive as it looks ahead to its next phase of global expansion.

Michelman most recently held the position of global chief marketing officer at Benefit Cosmetics and her previous roles have included general manager of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, North America, chief marketing officer at NEST New York, and various leadership roles at L’Oréal.

Established in 2018 by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry, The Inkey List has delivered a six-fold revenue increase over the past three years. With a dedicated digital community of over one million, the company ranks among the top four skincare brands to surpass one billion views on TikTok. To date, The Inkey List has sold over 50 million products worldwide.

Following the appointment, Laxton and Curry will continue to have active roles in the business whilst working alongside Michelman as founders and executive directors.

The duo said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome Stephanie into the Inkey family. The brand has seen phenomenal growth over the last four and a half years, and we have ambitious plans to maintain this momentum by making skincare simple and accessible globally. Stephanie is an ideal fit for us, possessing the brand DNA, beauty industry, and commercial expertise necessary to continue Inkey’s exponential growth.”
