Bath & Body Works to open standalone store at Merry Hill

Bath & Body Works is to open a standalone store at Merry Hill to complement its concession in the centre’s Next store.

Spanning 1,270 square feet, the shop will be situated opposite The Body Shop and Holland & Barrett.

The US brand will offer a range of fragrance-led body care items and home scents, as well as gifting and seasonal collections.

A spokesperson for Bath & Body Works said: “Following the success of our concession within Next, there was no question that opening a standalone Bath & Body Works store is a natural next step for the brand.

“We look forward to bringing an even broader range of our distinctive products to the centre, and know our fragrance-led body care, indulgent home scents, and seasonal collections will be well received by Merry Hill’s engaged visitor base.”

Merry Hill said the addition will bolster its health and beauty offer, which includes Superdrug, Rituals, and Boots.

The news comes ahead of the upcoming full reopening of the Superdrug store, following an upsize almost doubling its retail footprint.

Alistair Winning, leasing manager for Merry Hill owner and operator Redical said: “The addition of a standalone Bath & Body Works to Merry Hill is a strong endorsement of both the desirability of the destination and its continued relevance as the go-to destination for the West Midlands and the surrounding catchment.

“Bath & Body Works’ distinctive, desirable products and loyal customer base will further strengthen this already successful category, giving our customers even more reason to visit Merry Hill.”
