Paperchase to debut at Glasgow’s Silverburn

Stationery retailer Paperchase is to open a new store at the Silverburn out-of-town shopping centre in Glasgow.

Due to open this month, the 3,016 square foot shop is situated next to Office, Kurt Geiger and Coast.

The store will be Paperchase’s second in Glasgow, joining its 180 stores and concessions across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.  

Timothy Melgund, chief executive of Paperchase, said: “We have been seeking a second store in the Glasgow region for some time to meet demand for the Paperchase brand from consumers in and around the city. Silverburn stood out as the perfect place for our expansion; the retail mix is complementary to Paperchase and the Wintergarden leisure extension adds to the centre’s appeal amongst the many affluent consumers living in the catchment.”

Hammerson operated Silverburn has recently completed the Wintergarden extension which includes a Cineworld 14-screen cinema and 11 new restaurants including Carluccio’s, Chimichanga, Cosmo, Pret, TGI Friday’s and Five Guys.
