Moonpig hires Catherine Faiers as its new chief executive
Moonpig has hired Catherine Faiers as its new chief executive.
With her start date yet to be announced, she will succeed Nickyl Raithatha who, as announced back in June, is stepping down after seven years with the business.
Faiers has been serving as chief operating officer at Auto Trader Group since 2019 after joining the group as a director two years earlier. Prior to this, she was chief operating officer at Addison Lee and also previously worked as corporate development director at Trainline and as a director at Close Brothers Corporate Finance.
Kate Swann, non-executive chair at Moonpig, said: “Catherine brings a wealth of experience in e-commerce and public companies, with a proven track record of leading customer-focused digital, data, and technology transformations.
“I’m delighted to welcome her to the board and look forward to working closely with her. The board is pleased to have attracted someone of Catherine’s calibre to lead Moonpig Group, which reflects the strength and potential of our business.”
Faiers added: “I’m excited to be joining Moonpig Group, a business with a clear purpose, a strong platform and an exciting future.
“I look forward to working with the talented team to drive innovation, bring joy to our customers and to deliver sustainable value creation for all of our stakeholders.”
