Hamleys to launch Christmas Grotto at London’s The Ritz

Toy retailer Hamleys is teaming up with The Ritz London to launch a Christmas Grotto at the five-star hotel on London’s Piccadilly.

The Hamleys x Ritz London Christmas Grotto will be open from 8am to 8pm in The Royal Suite at The Ritz London on the weekend of 3 and 4 December.

The experience will begin on arrival at The Ritz where guests will be greeted by one of Hamleys’ Elves. They will then be escorted by a Ritz Page Boy to the hotel’s Royal Suite, which has been transformed into a spectacular Christmas Grotto.

To get them in the festive spirit, families will be able to enjoy hot chocolate while children will have the chance to talk all things Christmas with their ‘House Elf’. They will also be able to check for their name on the ‘Nice List’ and take part in fun and games. After meeting Santa, each child will leave with a personalised gift.

Priced at £250, the 30-minute experiences are for a maximum of six people, inclusive of at least one adult per appointment.

The grotto will also open on 2 December to offer exclusive Santa sessions for children who have been under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
