Prada Group appoints chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer

The Prada Group has appointed Malika Savell as chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer for Prada North America.

She will be responsible for developing policies, strategies and programmes to help ensure there is diverse representation of cultures and perspectives within the company. This will involve working with the group’s global leadership team to foster an inclusive culture.

Savell will report directly to Prada USA chief executive Marcelo Noschese, but will also work closely with the luxury brand’s diversity and inclusion advisory council, which is chaired by artist and activist Theaster Gates and writer, director and producer Ava DuVernay.
