Paul & Joe announces appointment of new chief executive
French fashion brand Paul & Joe has announced that Marie-Emmanuelle Demoures has become its new chief executive.
In her new role, she will work with founder Sophie Mechaly on the strategic development and growth of the business in France and internationally. She will also work with operational teams on expanding the brand’s appeal to new audiences.
Although she joined the business in March, the appointment has only just been announced in a LinkedIn post.
A graduate of the Institut Français de la Mode, Demoures has extensive experience in the ready-to-wear sector and is a former chief executive of Elise Chalmin.
Mechaly said: “I am delighted to welcome Marie-Emmanuelle to this adventure. Her strategic vision, product culture, and understanding of brands will enable her to take Paul & Joe to the next stage of its development.”
