Modella in talks to acquire Wynsors World of Shoes
Modella Capital is in discussions to acquire the privately owned Wynsors World of Shoes.
According to Sky News, the investment firm is in advanced talks with the footwear retailer regarding a deal which could potentially be finalised by the end of the year.
Wynsors has been exploring a sale of its business for the past two months and has appointed accountancy firm RSM to gauge interest from potential bidders.
Employing around 440 people, the company operates around 50 stores across the north of the UK and also trades from 40 concessions.
Earlier this year, Modella acquired The Original Factory Shop, 156 Claire’s stores in the UK and Ireland, and WH Smith’s high street shops, which are now known as TG Jones. It also owns Hobbycraft which it acquired in 2024.
