Lululemon appoints first chief of AI
Lululemon has appointed Ranju Das as its first chief AI and technology officer.
Due to join the business on 2 September, Das will be responsible for leading technology organisation and driving the development and execution of the next phase of Lululemon’s technology and AI strategy.
He will report to Lululemon chief executive Calvin McDonald and will be part of the company’s senior leadership team.
Das was previously chief executive and founder of Swan AI Studios, where he led the development of cutting-edge AI platforms and applications across industries. Prior to that, he served as chief executive of Optum Labs, the R&D arm of United Health Group, and also spent nearly eight years at Amazon where his most recent role was general manager for Amazon AI Services
