Babbico appoints former Mothercare head as CEO

Baby and toddler brand Babbico has appointed former Mothercare head Dan Le Vesconte as chief executive.

Prior to joining Mothercare in January 2023, Le Vesconte held senior roles at Abercrombie & Fitch, Dr Martens, Wolverine Worldwide and VF Corporation.

At Babbico, he has also become an investor.

Laura Marsh, co-founder of Babbico, said Le Vesconte’s experience and expertise will help the brand to achieve its growth ambitions.

She added: “As well as his outstanding retail and leadership experience, Dan brings complementary skills in both product and marketing, ideal support for ambitious start-up brands like Babbico.”

Co-founder Laura Storan said: “We’re energised and ready for this next stage of growth and to have Dan on board will form part of our brand DNA that will shape our team, fuel passion and propel Babbico to new heights.”
