Adanola makes three new leadership appointments
Athleisure brand Adanola has announced three new leadership appointments as it enters its next phase of growth.
The Manchester based business has promoted Erin Washburn (pictured) to the position of brand director following her five year tenure as head of creative. Prior to joining Adanola, she was senior creative executive at Nasty Gal where she led the concept and creative direction for global campaigns, including TV adverts, influencer collaborations and editorial content. She has also been a creative executive at Boohoo.
Subscribe to TRBIn a further appointment, the company has hired former Gymshark head of people Ellen Graemer as people director, which is a newly created role reporting directly to chief executive Niran Chana. Prior to Gymshark, she worked for nearly three years as an employment lawyer with Mills & Reeve.
Meanwhile, Georgina Bavalia has joined Adanola as head of design. Previously, she was design director at Aritzia and has also worked with Lululemon, COS, Eskandar and Celine.
Chana told Drapers: “Adanola is now entering its next phase of growth as we look to expand across product, channels and geographies. Building out a true leadership team will be foundational to our success.
“I’m delighted to announce Erin’s promotion to brand director; a truly deserved accolade after having served for five years at the creative helm.

“Georgina, our new head of design, will be integral in the evolution of our catalogue. Her role will ensure we build timeless product whilst remaining at the forefront of popular culture.
