New creative team at DKNY

LVMH has announced that it has appointed Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne as the new creative directors of the DKNY fashion brand.

The pair founded menswear brand Public School in 2008 and showcased their first womenswear collection during New York Fashion Week in 2014. After taking up their roles at DKNY, they will split their time between DKNY and their own label.

In a second appointment, Hector Muelas has been named as chief image officer of Donna Karan International.

Muelas was previously creative director of worldwide marketing communications at Apple and prior to that worked with the Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam, and Vice Media in Germany. His work has been recognised with numerous awards including the Cannes Lions Festival, Global Art Directors Club, Clio Awards, Effies and One Show.

In his new role, Muelas will oversee creative and brand image consistency across all Donna Karan International lines.
