Nespresso to open Bluewater boutique

Nespresso, the luxury coffee and espresso brand, is to open a boutique at the Bluewater shopping and leisure destination.

The store will be the first of its kind in the South East and one of only a handful in the UK.

Due to open in October, the 3,000 square foot store will be situated on Bluewater’s Upper Guildhall, adjacent to Apple, White Stuff and The White Company.

The Bluewater Nespresso will feature a new store design for the brand which will then be rolled out to future Nespresso stores. Stocking the full range of Nespresso products, the store will showcase the brand’s 23 ‘Grand Cru’ blends and will include special tasting areas.

Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, said: “Nespresso joins a growing number of premium brands, including Jo Malone, Mont Blanc and Breitling, in selecting Bluewater to create an exciting new store.

“That the Nespresso Boutique also heralds the launch of a new concept, which is consistent with our focus on creating a series of statement stores, is further reinforcement of Bluewater’s status as the destination of choice for international brands seeking a significant presence in the UK.”

Recent signings at Bluewater include new stores for Breitling and Hackett London, the launch of a new concept store for Schuh, and the upsizing of Next into a 44,000 square foot regional flagship.
