Michael Kors appoints Jacqueline Hay as VP for buying and planning

Luxury lifestyle brand Michael Kors has named Jacqueline Hay as its new vice president of buying and planning for retail Europe. She will join the business in April.

Hay was most recently executive director for apparel and accessories at House of Fraser. Her previous roles at the department store chain included executive director for menswear and childrenswear and buying director.

In her new role, she will report to Michael Kors president of EMEA, Cedric Wilmotte,

Commenting on the appointment, Wilmotte said Hay will help to lead the business into its next stage of growth. He added: “Jacqueline has been in the strategic business planning and buying sector across a range of product categories for over 20 years and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and strong relationships in this space.”
